Stamping Symphony January Blog Hop - Stamping with Jen

Happy New Year!! Can you believe this is our first blog hop of 2022?? The theme this month is either Love or Sale A Bration.  To continue with my theme of Love and Friendship which I am featuring a 3 part card series for, I decided to stay with the Love theme!!!  Ok, come on, how adorable are these hedgehogs?

Here is a closer look at them.

And yes, it is a shaker card!!!!! So, I kind of borrowed sentiments and stamps from a a few different sets (see them below in the supply list).  I kept the shaker sequins just in the middle panel, but you could have the entire card one big shaker if you wished.  I used the Picture This dies to cut the three panels out of the Sweet Talk designer series paper. I attached a window sheet to the back of it.  Stamped sentiments and hearts in the windows using Real Red ink on Basic White cardstock.  I also stamped in memento ink the two hedgehogs and the birds.  Coloured them with my blends and then punched out the large hedgehog and fussy cut (with scissors) the small one and the bird.  I assembled my shaker card and voila, too much cuteness!!!

I kept the inside pretty simple.  I did stamp on a 4 X 5 1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside because I wanted to color the images with my blends, and they would bleed through if I stamped right on the card base.

I know a special friend who loves shaker cards!!! Guess this card is for her :).

If you would like to make this card, I have provided links below to the items I used!  Make that wish list and get it while Sale A Bration is on!!  If the wish list is close to $100, then you will want to consider the amazing join special right now.  You can purchase $165 worth of product of your choice from the catalogues, get a free paper pumpkin and get TWO FREE stamp sets of your choice!!!!
