Stamping with Jen - Moving Cards - Celebrate with Tags

So I was inspired by Susan Campfield for this card.  She did the most adorable card with the gnomes and I knew I just needed to try this.  You can see her video here. I re-made her card with the gnomes but also did it with the Celebrate with Tags bundle.  You can't see in still shots, but the bottom mitten actually swings!!

For the red card, I used the DSP from Painted Christmas and for the blue card I used it from Storybook Gnomes

Which is your favourite?  Make sure you watch my video to see how to put the moving mitt together.  You will be shocked at how easy it is.

Please visit me on Facebook and post the cards you made! Let's inspire each other!

Stamping with Jen Christmas Barn - Stamping Symphony Blog Hop -

It is the middle of October 2022.  Can you believe Thanksgiving is behind us, Halloween is soon and then Christmas will be here? Why as you get older does time just fly right by us?  But the 15th of the month means it is time to blog and instahop with the Stamping Symphony group!!  This months theme is holiday/Christmas! It is time to get those Christmas cards started!

I finally got to play with the Christmas Barn stamp set, and oh my.

I stamped in Memento on Pacific Point cardstock.  I used my stamparatus so that I could get it darker.  Then I simply sponged with night of navy.  Colored the barn softly with water color pencils (cherry cobbler) and then added highlights and snow with the white water color pencil.  I stamped the stars (from Christmas Lights) in White Craft Ink and splattered the sky with wink of Stella.   The little horse drawn carriage was stamped on pacific point, coloured with water color pencils and then cut out using the dies.

Do you see the little bit of glimmer in the sky.  The wink of Stella adds a subtle sparkle to the card.  This card reminds me of the cold crisp winter nights where the stars sparkle in the snow and the whole world glistens in peace and tranquillity.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple
