Super easy fun-fold card that still WOWs!!!

 Our last team meeting Batty Brooks demonstrated this super fun card that looks so difficult, but it is really really easy and has the WOW factor.  I did three cards, all featuring products on the last chance list.  Which is your favourite?

Here are the measurements:

- Card base - 4 1/4 X 8 1/2, score with the 81/2 across the top at 2, 4,6 and 8, then flip around and score at 2

- Same colour as card base 1 X 3, score at 1/2 on both sides, fold into a z fold

DSP 1 - 1 7/8 X 4

DSP 2 1 7/8 X 1 7/8 (need 6 of these, can be all the same pattern or 3 of one pattern and 3 of another)

DSP 3 1 7/8 X 2 (need 3)

Basic White 1 7/8 X 4

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - March 2024 Memorable Meadows

 Welcome April.  My colleagues at work and I survived March at work and I was finally able to play with the March Memorable Meadows paper pumpkin. It is stunning!!! I hope you are enjoying your kit.  I didn't even make the cards that were designed for the kit.  Instead, I added some extra cardstock and a few labels and created a few alternatives.  I hope you enjoy them!  Please let me know which is your favourite.

Card # 1 Card base 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 2 1/8 and 5 1/2; measure half way (2 1/8) and put a pencil mark. Cut from the pencil mark to the 2 1/8 score line creating an arrow head DSP Front Panel - 3 1/8 X 4 Fresh Freesia square 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 Basic White square 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (need two of these) Inside DSP 5 1/4 X 4

Card # 2 Card base 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 1 1/4 and 4 1/4 Front DSP 2 3/4 X 5 1/4 Front flap DSP 1 X 5 1/4 Inside DSP 1 1/8 X 5 1/4 Inside basic white 2 3/4 X 5 1/4

Hot Air Balloons - Simple Fun Fold Card

 Hello! How are you tonight? I have quite a bit of 6X6 designer series paper (DSP) and when I saw Karen Titus' video on how to use a 6X6 DSP to make a super easy fun fold card, I had to try it with the Hot Air Balloon suite.  This is in the 2024 Jan to April Mini and it is GORGEOUS!  Which card do you prefer?

Same design, same products, just a different colour combination.  There are so many colours you could choose based on the gorgeous DSP.

To make this card, simply pick a coordinating cardstock and cut it to 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4.

Then take a piece of DSP, cut 3/4 off the bottom.  Cut a piece at 4 X 5 1/4 and then two pieces at 1 X 5 1/4 . Using these pieces, with the card stock and a piece of basic white measuring 51/4 X 4, glue your card together (watch the video to see how simple this is).

Embellish with die cuts or stamps and VOILA you are done!
