How is it September already? Might as well accept it and start playing with the Lustrous Leaves Bundle

 I love the autumn.  The colours, the blue skies, the freshness in the air but I do not like what comes after it!  So I am sad to see the summery end but I really do love the fall!  And you know what else I love, the new Hot Foil Line from Stampin'Up!  I am a newby to hot foiling, and it has the same wow factor for me that heat embossing did (and still does).  If you haven't tried it, you must. The results are stunning.

So tonight I played with the Lustrous Leaves.  I was inspired by Deb at Delight of My Art who demonstrated this Peekaboo Double Flap card.  It is such an easy fun fold.  What do you think?

You can see both sides of the designer series paper.  You could even decorate the middle if you want to, but the paper is beautiful and I didn't want to take away from it.

And then the inside.  So simple

So I hot foiled the leaves using copper foil and then used the masks.  The first three I did with Golden Glow and mask 4 I used Cajun craze.  So pretty!!!

Cutest Crew Bundle - Too Cute for Words!

 I have just released my new class, and yup, it is the Cutest Crew.  Registration closes August 16th so don't wait! It is a class to go, check out on my blog for a link to the registration form.

For tonights video I decided to make two cards because they were soooooo easy to make.  These cards are not part of my class, but I wanted to show people taking the class how easy it is to make ADORABLE cards with this bundle

The first card we made is very simple.  Which colour combination do you prefer?

The second card is perfect for using up scraps. Watch my video to see how to make this one.  Do you prefer the rainbow or the red/orange combo?

I prefer the red/orange combo, but hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I had one more orange piece so I had a pattern of three colour combinations.  But I still like it.  And, come on, how cute are those dogs, cats and birds...Adorable!

Front Triple Panel Pop Out card featuring the Berry Botanical Vellum

 We did this card in our Stamping Symphony meeting as our make n take and it was such a fun card to make, I thought I would do another one for my live this week. Leena Girsa demonstrated this and she received it as a swap.  We aren't sure the original creator so can't give recognition for it.  But this is a fun one!

It is hard to see how the panels pop up, so I did a view looking down on the card.

This card is definetly one that will require additional postage and I highly recommend using two toned cardstock to reduce some of the bulk that our regular cardstock would have to the card.

Need a simple Masculine Card - Gears & Textures is for you

 I finally had time to play with the Gears & Textures set. Oh my, I can't wait for tomorrow so I can play again!  I always struggle with masculine cards, but not anymore.  This is so fun and easy to use.  

Which colour combination to you prefer?

Both DSP is from the Nature's Walk DSP, which is also perfect for masculine cards!  I like both.  We made the blue on my video, but essentially the products are the same
