Stamping with Jen - Hat Builder and Give it a Whirl!

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe it is almost June already.  Where is the time going?? Thought I had better get moving on some Father's Day cards and masculine birthday cards to get my stash back up and ready for the big day of fishing LOL.

I almost missed the Give it Whirl Dies in the annual catalogue.  So much fun making interactive cards.   Think I will be playing with these for a while!!!  Make sure you watch my video to see how not to put it together!!!! Big blooper in the video. I ended up on the video putting the window in the wrong place and wrong direction!! So excuse the blooper!!  Here is a photo of the corrected card!

Hats off Hat Builder Dies

Stamping with Jen - Beauty of the Earth

Happy Wednesday! So I decided to share a swap I did using the Beauty of Friendship Bundle from the Beauty of the Earth Suite.  It is such an easy card and perfect for those men in your life.  It would be good for a Father's Day, birthday card, you name it!!

I simply embossed using the Evergreen Forest 3D folder, and cut out the tree from either cardstock or DSP.  Used a strip of of the DSP for the bottom and stamped a sentiment and voila, it was done!!! So simple!  The first card I used the new Evening Evergreen and the second one Early Espresso.  Which do you prefer?

Beauty of the Earth

Beauty of the Earth

Do you see the difference with the tree canopy? Which do you prefer? I like the first one with the branches shining through!!!

The measurements for the card are:

- Card base (Early Espresso or Evening Evergreen) 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

- Strip same color as base - 1 1/8 X 4

- Basic White - 5 1/4 X 4 (times two), one for inside stamping and one run through the Evergreen Embossing Folder.

- Beauty of the Earth DSP - tree strip 1 1/4 X 4 1/8

 - Green for the tree backing die cut

- Early Espresso tree trunk die cut

- Old olive - for the top of the leaves

See the complete list of supplies needed below! Make sure you watch my video to see how to put this together!

Hope you have a great week! Happy Stamping!
