There are so many gorgeous Christmas sets in the September to December mini that I had a hard time choosing which one to play with. So The Stars at Night bundle won. This is part of a mega suite in the catalogue (you can find it starting on page 14). The dies and embossing folder go together and you can cut and emboss at the same time...so beautiful.
I am a sucker for navy and silver, but I thought I would also try this card in navy and gold. Which do you prefer?

September 20th...what???? Where did September go? I love Halloween, but I am not a Halloween fanatic and I don't really send very many cards for Halloween. So I always check the catalogue to see if I can get some cute cards without having to invest in a bundle that I may or may not use. So that is what todays card is. I rely on the DSP to do all the work. It is a very simple card, but I think it is pretty cute.
Which one do you prefer?
Normally we get a halloween stamp in our Paper Pumpkin which I can use. But not this year....so I just relied on dies. There are very few items for this card!
The dimensions for this card:
Card base - basic black - 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 5 1/2, cut at 7.

- the remaining piece is the centre flap of your card
DSP - top and bottom panels (landscape) - 1 1/4 X 4
DSP - middle panel 4 X 2 1/4
DSP - inside - 4 X 1
DSP - cut out images
Basic White 4 X 5 1/4

Today is the first day of the mini catalogue!! Have you seen it? I have a PDF on my blog, so make sure you check it out. I always look at my soft pastels in my drawer as I get my blocks and think, I have to use these...and the All About Autumn suite is a perfect suite to use them.
The DSP does all the work, but I do love the effects of the chalk on the leaf. What do you think?
The maple leaf is stamped in versamark and then rubbed over with our chalks. I started with yellow, then the orange and then the red. I stamped the veins in copper clay and that is it!!
I then did the same card using a different DSP
Which is your favourite??
All the supplies are (or will be) available from my on-line store. The DSP is currently sold out but will be back next week. But hurry, it won't last long!
You can watch my video to see how to make the leaf
I hope you enjoyed this card. I am so in love with the All About Autumn Suite. Have an amazing day.
