Who needs easy, quick and cute fun fold cards that is also perfect for masculine cards? I do!!! I made these two simple cards after being inspired by Brenda Quintana. She demonstrated the Puzzle Slider Card and I just had to share it with you! What do you think? Which one do you prefer?
You can watch my video from YouTube to see how to make this card.
Dimensions are as follows:
Card base - 9 1/2 X 4 1/4, scored at 1, rotate for the other side and score at 1. Flip over and score at 2 and rotate again and score at 2 (watch video, this gives you crisper folds)

DSP 3 3/4 X 5 (landscape), with 3 3/4 at top, cut in half at 1 7/8. With top piece, cut at 3 inch and with bottom piece cut at 2 inches

Basic white or another neutral (very vanilla, basic beige) - 4 X 5 1/4
I am back. I have been MIA for the last few weeks because of work. But things seem to have settled down to manageable for now anyway! I needed to play with this Gallery of Blooms set. It is part of a suite that will be released on May 6th and let me tell you, everything in that Suite are stunning. You will love the DSP. But for today I just did some good old stamping and colouring with blends.
For the pink panel, I took a 5 1/4 X 4 piece of Basic White cardstock and using my blends went from bottom to top with Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo ink. I then took my water painter and splattered water, followed by white craft ink, followed by Memento ink to create the interesting pink panels. I then cut it out using the framed dies in the Gallery Blooms dies (it cuts three panels, two of which I used in these cards). I then cut a piece of Basic White cardstock with the same die.
The flowers I stamped with Momento Ink and then used my blends to colour in. The flowers were coloured using the Pretty in Pink and the Melon Mambo Light and Dark blends. The leaves were coloured in using Granny Apple Green combo and Lemon Lime Twist light.
The sentiments were die cut from the Mixed Labels dies and heat embossed using the white embossing powder.
Do you see the two embossing folders. One is the corrogulated embossing folder that is available with the Botanical Textured Suite and the other one (middle panel) is Pressed Flowers that will be available on May 6 2025. Pressed Flowers is part of the Floral Impressions Suite. And those gorgeous embellishments, also part of the Floral Impressions Suite!!!
Which card layout do you prefer, the one above or this one?
