Using Decorative Masks - Linked together meets Cake Celebrations

 Do you really need a reason to celebrate to eat cake? LOL. I decided to play with the decorative masks from the Linked Together Bundle. Which colours do you prefer?

Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock or

Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss?

I used different combinations of masks with the inks and blending brushes.  I die cut the cake and icing out.  The cake and the background are embossed with the So Swirly embossing folder and I heat embossed the cake stand in silver.

Easy card layouts featuring the Mixed Floral Suite

 So, I just recently purchased this set, and I will be honest with you, I purchased it only because Jay Soriano was featuring it as one of his colouring classes.  And I tell you, I am so happy he did!!! I love these images, they are perfect for spring, which is just around the corner!!

Storybook Moments - Super Easy Card!!

 I cannot get enough of the Storybook Moments DSP.  It is so cute and so easy to make adorable cards!!

Which do you like? Cajun Craze or Pretty Peacock?

This card is so easy to make.  I stepped it up a bit with using embossing folders, die cuts and some ribbon.  But it would be super cute without it.  

Measurements are:

- Card base - 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

- first layer 5 1/4 X 4 (I embossed the Pretty Peacock and die cut the Cajun Craze panel using the Pattern of Friendship die).

- DSP 5 1/4 X 1 1/2

- Panel layer behind the squirrel.  I used the Textured Notes dies and then ran it through twice to get the right size rectangle (I explained in the video).

Masculine Valentines Day Cards featuring Friendly Seagulls

 Happy February 13th 2025.  We in Ontario are digging out of a snow storm and are getting ready for a few more to hit.  But it hit me yesterday that Friday is Valentines Day.  Not sure how it snuck up on me, but I didn't have cards ready for my boys.  So, I needed to make something quickly and thought I would share with you while I did!
