Storybook Moments - Super Easy Card!!

 I cannot get enough of the Storybook Moments DSP.  It is so cute and so easy to make adorable cards!!

Which do you like? Cajun Craze or Pretty Peacock?

This card is so easy to make.  I stepped it up a bit with using embossing folders, die cuts and some ribbon.  But it would be super cute without it.  

Measurements are:

- Card base - 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

- first layer 5 1/4 X 4 (I embossed the Pretty Peacock and die cut the Cajun Craze panel using the Pattern of Friendship die).

- DSP 5 1/4 X 1 1/2

- Panel layer behind the squirrel.  I used the Textured Notes dies and then ran it through twice to get the right size rectangle (I explained in the video).

Masculine Valentines Day Cards featuring Friendly Seagulls

 Happy February 13th 2025.  We in Ontario are digging out of a snow storm and are getting ready for a few more to hit.  But it hit me yesterday that Friday is Valentines Day.  Not sure how it snuck up on me, but I didn't have cards ready for my boys.  So, I needed to make something quickly and thought I would share with you while I did!

The card features the adorable Friendly Seagulls which I have used a few times.  These are a FREE item during Sale-a-bration (while supplies last) up until Feb 28.  So don't miss out.  You just need to place an order of $75 (before tax and shipping) to qualify for a free item of your choice.

Hearts for You - January 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

 This months Paper Pumpkin kit is gorgeous, but like normal, I had to make alternatives.  Please let me know which one you like the best!

Friendly Seagulls Super Easy Birthday Card

 Hello, Happy January 22, 2025.  I am not sure where you are, but we are in a deep freeze right now, and to think of seagulls on a beach squawking away, seems heavenly at the moment!  I hope you guys are all staying warm and healthy.

This card is super easy and features a FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Friendly Seagulls.  These seagulls are so darn cute!!  Which colour do you prefer?

I used the hexagon from the Wildflower Designs dies, I used two different embossing folders, the one on the Boho Blue card is the So Swirly where the one on the Pool Party card is the Soft Waves 3D folder.  The pier is made from the Country Woods Designer Series paper and the gulls are coloured using blends (Peach Pie, Basic Black, and Gray Granite).  I did a little bit of stamping (the fishes) and some blending and that was about it.

I needed a birthday card, so I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Sale-A-Bration set A Day To Celebrate and then coloured the fries with Wild Wheat blends and the container with Poppy Parade.  A simple, yet adorable card for a person of any age!!!

Hidden Door Fun Fold Card - Wildflower Birthday

 Happy January 15th 2025.  I cannot believe it is the middle of January already.  The days are getting longer, we have daylight past 5 pm..so excited for spring to arrive!!

Jay Sorento of Mitosu crafts did this pretty amazing fun fold.  You can go to his card here..  We also did his fun-fold in our team meeting this week and I had so much fun with it, that I decided to share it with you. 

I used the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to recreate this beautiful card.  What do you think?

Then there is a hidden door, where you get to put another message!

The card can stand up too to for display!

Heart Shaped meets Hearts of Elegance

 Happy New Year! My first post of 2025.  I hope you all had a healthy, relaxing holiday season.  Today I played with some on-line exclusive products that coordinated beautifully with sale-a-bration items.  Which do you prefer? The melon mambo or the real red version?

I used products from the Marbled Elegance suite from the On-line exclusives including the stunning Marbled Elegance specialty designer series paper and the Hearts of Elegance bundle together with Sale-A -bration bundle Heart Shaped.  I love how these products coordinate and are perfect for valentines day, anniversaries or just to let someone know you love them.
