For this card, I used glossy cardstock, with gorgeous grape and basic black. The glossy cardstock makes blending the inks so much easier, but you do need to give it time to dry (or do what I do and use the heat tool to help it along). I used the second smallest circle from the layering circles die to create a mask for the moon and then using the sponge brayer I applied rich razzleberry and gorgeous grape. I stamped the trees in black momento from the Winter Woods stamp set and then sponged momento black around the edges to darken then up a bit. I cut the trees (from In the Woods), bats (from Seasonal Tags) and the spider web (from Seasonal Tags) in basic black cardstock. I also added the bottom "hill" (really to hide the bottom of the trees) from the Winter Woods die set. Using the label punch, I stamped Spooky from the September Paper Pumpkin and then sponged black around the edges.
I absolutely love the Winter Woods bundle. How versatile!! I even managed a halloween card with it :). And, I think purple and black are my new favourite halloween colours! For a complete list of supplies see below and make sure you check out the other talented Stamping Symphony blogs!
