Sneak Peak - Scenic Coast Suite Collection

One of my favourite parts about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is getting together with fellow demonstrators to share our creativity.  So our Stamping Symphony team is having a family reunion and I get to demonstrate this new suite.  So expect some examples in the next few weeks as I play and figure out the card we are going to make at the event!

Which one is your favourite? I love this layout when you just want to show off the gorgeous DSP. I believe it is called a fractured card?

It is really difficult to see, but the DSP has irredescent in it, making the water just come alive! So pretty.  The die cuts are from the Sunset Coast dies and I used the Natural Hues textured paper as well as the Pastels Shimmer paper for the shells.  The sail boats are stamped in Azure Afternoon and Crushed Curry and die cut.  Thank goodness my favourite Stylish Shapes is NOT on the Last Chance List!

I kept the inside really simple.  I cut out one of the nets in thick Basic White and used it as a stencil for the inside.  I sponged with Pecan Pie to create some interest for the shells for the inside.  I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape.

This is the card I did in the video.  Exact same layout, different DSP and colour combination.  Which is your favourite?

Fluttering Garden - Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - March 2026

Is it spring yet? I think we are on a yo-yo with respect to weather.  One day it is 17C and then next day there is snow on the ground.  Enough already, bring the hummingbirds back!

This paper pumpkin kit had two stamps in it and some GORGEOUS hummingbird pop outs.  The card bases in the kit were very neutral with not a lot of colour, so I brought in some designer series paper I had lying around for this first card. I used a different panel of the same paper in my video.  This card is so simple, yet I love it!  What do you think? The second one is the one we did in the video, which do you prefer? the Peach or the Blue?

For the second card that we did in the video, I used the envelope for a splash of colour.  I kept this one pretty neutral using heat embossing.  In the video, I used a Basic White card base, but I actually prefer the Basic Gray.  Which do you prefer?

I used the "beautiful" from the kit but stamped the Hello and then cut it out.  The largest mat is from the kit also (a card base) and I just sponged some pool party on it to dull the grey.

Check out the video replay where I made this cards live on FB and YouTube.

Also check back to my Facebook page for the next few days to see other alternatives using this amazing kit.  I can't wait for next months kit (only a few more days to subscribe).

Where the heck is Spring??? Easter Basket Bundle for a non-Easter card

Alright, I know technically Spring has not arrived, but it is March 18th and I am DONE with the white stuff (snow of course).  We had a few days of lovely warm weather where the birds were singing and then winter came back with a blast. So, I apologize, but I think if I keep doing spring cards, that it might decide to actually arrive and stay LOL.

So the Easter Basket Bundle is wonderful for cards other than just Easter.  I did a version of this card for my Easter Basket card class, but thought I would switch it up for tonights video.

Which do you prefer?

The inside is pretty simple.
