Stamping with Jen Hey Birthday Chick meets the new in-colors!

 Next week is a big week!!! The last day to get your favourites from the Last Chance Sale (May 2), the new catalogue goes live (May 3), last day to order from my ribbon and paper share (May 4) and last day to register for my Happiness Abounds Stamp camp.  Lots going on!!!!  

I am really sad to see the Hey Birthday Chick retire.  It was one of my main go to stamps for fun birthday cards and since I have a number of birthdays this coming month, I thought I would give it one last play in my craft room!!  

I just love this fold.  It is such an impressive way to show off our gorgeous designer series paper!!  Isn't it fun?

And it folds up nicely into an envelope for mailing!  Not a lot of room to write a message on the front, so simply stick some Basic White on the back and you have a place to write a nice birthday message!

The cardstock and glimmer paper used are not available until May 3 when the catalogue goes live.  But it is from the 2022-2024 In-color DSP and 2022-2024 In-Color Glimmer paper.   I am completely in love with ALL of the new in-colors.  They are gorgeous!!!

Stamping with Jen - Last Chance - Sweet Strawberry Fun Fold

 We are midway through the month and that means only a few weeks left of the Last Chance event.  This is where retiring items are available, while supplies last, before they go away forever!!  I LOVED the Sweet Strawberry bundle and am very sad to see it go.  I thought I would give it one last play!!  I am featuring quite a few items on the Last chance list, can you see them?

So the bundle of course is retiring, but so is the DSP  (Pattern Party), some of the glimmer paper (the ombre specialty paper) and the rhinestones (the 2021-2023 in color jewels).  I have done this fold (can you tell I love it) on my last 3 posts, so I won't go into how to do it.  Just flip back to watch the video for on my previous posts for all the instructions and measurements.  So for the strawberries and two of the flowers I used the ombre specialty paper, and for the strawberry leaves and the one pink flower I used the Supple Shimmer Paper.  The leaves I coloured with my Granny Apple Green blends as well.  On my previous cards I used a ribbon to tie the card shut.  However I got ahead of myself on this one and glued the DSP before I put my ribbon down, so I instead popped up one of the flowers on dimensionals and use the flowers to tuck the corner of the front card under to keep it closed! Works like a charm.

I just love the bright and cheeriness of the DSP and the Sweet Strawberry bundle.  I hope you do too!

Stamping with Jen Last Chance Birds & More Dies

 Only a few weeks left to get your retiring favourites!!! I am so in love with this fold!!! I did it last post with the Hats off Bundle and now I am doing it with the Birds & More dies.  What do you think?

I just love the pool party and Cinnamon Cider together. I won't go into how to do the fold, as I did in last weeks post as well as in the videos.  There is only two items on this card front that aren't retiring. Can you guess them? The card stock (except of course the cinnamon cider cardstock) and the pool party sheer ribbon.  Everything else is going away :(.  But that is ok,  you should see what it is coming in their place...I can't wait to share with you.

For the inside of the mini card front and of the main card, I kept it pretty simple!
