Gorgeous Gardens and Autumn Leaves - Beautiful Autumn Card

 Can you believe tomorrow is the last day of August and the kids are back to school next week? Where did the summer go?  The leaves are starting to turn and there has been a chill in the air a few days this week.  It makes my heart sad that summer is over.  Don't get me wrong, I love the autumn but not what comes after it :).

So I gave in and made this very pretty card.  I simply took my blending brushes and an autumn pallet of colours and went to town making a background.  I cut it out using the Gorgeous Gardens dies and then did some card surgery on it to cut it in half, making enough for two cards!

I finished it off with some ribbon and a simple stamped inside and voila a beautiful, easy autumn card!

Festive Tags Kit and Alternative Cards

 Have you seen this super cute kit? Here is one I made with the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (from on-line exclusives) and all I needed was Lost Lagoon and Basic White cardstock.  

This one used DSP from Beary Christmas as well as Pool Party and Basic White cardstock, oh yeah and I coloured some of the snowflakes with my Pool Party blends.

Here is one with Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon cardstock with DSP from A Walk in the Forest.

A fourth example with Pretty Peacock and Gold Foil with some sprigs from the Joy of Noel dies and DSP from A Walk in the Forest. And the last example

And this one uses some Flirty Flamingo and Basic White cardstock and some DSP from A Walk in the Forest.

All About Autumn - Fun Fold

 Is it too early for Autumn? Yes it is...I LOVE the Autumn but I am not ready for the summer to end.  I cannot believe September is just a few weeks away.

So our instahop theme this month was Fall.  So I made this card for our instahop.

I then decided that I loved it so much, that I had to try different DSPs from the All About Autumn DSP pack (available Sept 6)

Seasonal Branches - Stamping with Jen

 Happy Wednesday.  After doing this fold for my hubby's anniversary card I thought It would be perfect for the Seasonal Branches stamp set so I got it out to play with.  I think it works, what do you think?

The fold is so easy. Make sure you watch my video for tips and tricks on how to make it.  The DSP is from the Earthen Elegance DSP pack and I used Pool Party, Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon, along with Copper Clay, Pebbled Path and some petal pink on the bird.  It think it works! Wasn't too sure about a green bird...LOL

The inside I kept super simple

The supplies to make this card are provided below.  Here are the dimensions:

- Card base 4 1/4 X 9 3/4 scored at 5 1/2 (watch the video to see how to cut it)

- DSP 2 3/4 X 2 3/4

-DSP 1 X 4

- Basic White 4 X 5 1/4 (watch video to see how to cut it)

- Basic White scrap for sentiment and die cutting.
