Reindeer Fun Fun Fold

 I am having so much fun playing with the Reindeer Fun bundle and Reindeer Days suite.  This is such a classic Christmas set and is perfect for those of all ages.  I made this super cute fun fold card.  Which do you prefer?

Red

or green

I like them both, but I think on the green one I should have put the sentiment at the bottom as the reindeer are much taller than on the red one.  Guess the will need to wait for the next card.

Splendid Autumn

 Well Autumn is in the air and Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  I thought I would make some autumn themed thank you cards as I have a number of events coming up that I need thank you cards for!!  Let me tell you, this suite is gorgeous.  The DSP is amazing and the stamp set and dies of the Autumn Expressions bundle are stunning.

Playful Ghosts - Super cute Halloween card

 Are you a halloween junkie? I am not, but I have a lot of friends that are.  I don't send a lot of Halloween cards, but I do a few to those that really love the holiday. For me, I think it is great to see the neighbourhood connecting and the cute and excited kids in the neighbourhood.  Any way, I decided to make a halloween card as I do need to send a few!  This card features the Playful Ghosts Stamp set.  Aren't the images just adorable!

I used the foliage from the Citrus Blooms Dies and the banner from the Stylish Shapes dies.  I stamped the images in memento ink and coloured with blends (pumpkins were Pumpkin Pie blends and Peach Pie blends, hat was Highland Heather blends and Basic Black Blends and the broom was Crumb Cake Blends with Pecan Pie blends.  The top of the pumpkins I used Granny Apple Green.  I used my blending brushes to create a background with Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Highland Heather ink where I stamped some bats in Memento.  Don't these ghosts just bring a smile to your face!!

Changing Leaves Super Easy card

 Hello, can you believe it is September and the leaves are changing.  Where has the time gone? I thought I would share the card I made for the Stamping Symphony instahop that goes live on the 15th of September.  The theme was fall and a colour challenge.  I managed to use a few of the colours from the challenge

What do you think?

I was happy to have the subtle Pumpkin Pie in the large leaf, but with help during my life I went out of my comfort zone and added a pop of Pumpkin Pie instead.  Does it work?

June Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - Life is Sweet

 How do you guys feel about fruit on cards? The jury is out on that one for me!! But, this months paper pumpkin coordinated with the Citrus Blooms set and was full of lemons, peaches and cherries (yum)!

I made a few alternatives with the kit, please let me know which one is your favourite.

Lily Pond Lane Easy Fun Fold

 I have been having so much fun with the Lily Pond Lane suite, who knew ducks could be so adorable!!!  But tonight I wanted to show that you didn't have do a card with ducks with this suite.  The designer series paper is so gorgeous.  The colours are just so cheerful and I think I found my new favourite color combination...Pretty Peacock and Pretty in Pink...they are so pretty LOL.

 Who else needs birthday cards.  I need to make a few and pop them in the mail.  So I started playing with the Country Birdhouse bundle and the DSP from the Country Woods suite, and oh my.  Which do you prefer?

 Our last team meeting Batty Brooks demonstrated this super fun card that looks so difficult, but it is really really easy and has the WOW factor.  I did three cards, all featuring products on the last chance list.  Which is your favourite?

Here are the measurements:

- Card base - 4 1/4 X 8 1/2, score with the 81/2 across the top at 2, 4,6 and 8, then flip around and score at 2

- Same colour as card base 1 X 3, score at 1/2 on both sides, fold into a z fold

DSP 1 - 1 7/8 X 4

DSP 2 1 7/8 X 1 7/8 (need 6 of these, can be all the same pattern or 3 of one pattern and 3 of another)

DSP 3 1 7/8 X 2 (need 3)

Basic White 1 7/8 X 4

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - March 2024 Memorable Meadows

 Welcome April.  My colleagues at work and I survived March at work and I was finally able to play with the March Memorable Meadows paper pumpkin. It is stunning!!! I hope you are enjoying your kit.  I didn't even make the cards that were designed for the kit.  Instead, I added some extra cardstock and a few labels and created a few alternatives.  I hope you enjoy them!  Please let me know which is your favourite.

Card # 1 Card base 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 2 1/8 and 5 1/2; measure half way (2 1/8) and put a pencil mark. Cut from the pencil mark to the 2 1/8 score line creating an arrow head DSP Front Panel - 3 1/8 X 4 Fresh Freesia square 2 7/8 X 2 7/8 Basic White square 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (need two of these) Inside DSP 5 1/4 X 4

Card # 2 Card base 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 1 1/4 and 4 1/4 Front DSP 2 3/4 X 5 1/4 Front flap DSP 1 X 5 1/4 Inside DSP 1 1/8 X 5 1/4 Inside basic white 2 3/4 X 5 1/4

Hot Air Balloons - Simple Fun Fold Card

 Hello! How are you tonight? I have quite a bit of 6X6 designer series paper (DSP) and when I saw Karen Titus' video on how to use a 6X6 DSP to make a super easy fun fold card, I had to try it with the Hot Air Balloon suite.  This is in the 2024 Jan to April Mini and it is GORGEOUS!  Which card do you prefer?

Same design, same products, just a different colour combination.  There are so many colours you could choose based on the gorgeous DSP.

To make this card, simply pick a coordinating cardstock and cut it to 5 1/2 by 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4.

Then take a piece of DSP, cut 3/4 off the bottom.  Cut a piece at 4 X 5 1/4 and then two pieces at 1 X 5 1/4 . Using these pieces, with the card stock and a piece of basic white measuring 51/4 X 4, glue your card together (watch the video to see how simple this is).

Embellish with die cuts or stamps and VOILA you are done!
