Sale A Bration Blog Hop - Epic Celebration

Happy Monday! Welcome to the first blog hop of 2018 for us!  This month we are sharing Sale-A-Bration themed projects with you!

 I would like to share a card using the Epic Celebration Stamp Set from Sale A Bration. Yes, that is correct, this fun stamp set is free with a $60 purchase of Stampin up products!! Only until March 31st though, so don't miss out.

 

See the background, so cool! I made it using the Brilliant Red Brusho from the Occasions Catalogue.  So easy (if not a little messy :).  Here is how I did it. I took some shimmer white cardstock and sprinkled some Brusho on it, you don't need a lot.

Then, I took my spritzer and sprayed it with water (this is where the messy part comes), but it is amazing the different patterns you can get.

 

My paper curled a bit, but I was able to straighten it out as it dried.  Some people tape it down with Washi tape but I didn't need to.  Once it dries (you can use your heat tool too to reduce time), if you want to add more color, go ahead. Just remember to wet it again to activate the Brusho.

Let it dry and voila! A unique background to start your card with!!

I mounted the background to a sheet of powder pink and rich razzleberry and then adhered that to melon mambo cardstock.  I stamped the shoes on whisper white cardstock using momento ink and then coloured with my stampin up markers.  Think this card is perfect for a teenage girls birthday!!  For a complete list of supplies see below.

Although hard to see in the photo, I fussy cut the shoes and adhered with stamping dimensionals to pop them up a bit. But before I did that, I went over them with wink of stella to give a little glitter.  The inside of the card used another Sale A Bration item, the Happy Wishes stamp set!

Also tried in blues, hope you enjoy and oh yeah, did I mention this stamp set is free?????

Happy Birthday Dad!!

It was my dad's 78th birthday yesterday so I had some fun playing with the eclipse technique and the True Gentleman DSP and the Truly Tailored Stamp Set.

Love the DSP, will need to get some more for my paper collection!!!  A very easy and quick card.  I always struggle with masculine cards, so I am so thankful for this suite in the Occasions Catalogue (2018).

The inside of the card is simply stamped from the Truly Tailored Stamp Set and the True Gentleman DSP. Quick and easy, perfect for our busy lives!!!

With Valentines Day Coming Up, thought this made a cute but simple card. So using Rich Razzleberry as the card stock and ink and the new Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper together with the Bird Banter Stamp set and the Blends (full list provided below) a simple and quick Valentines day Card came to be!!

Valentines Day with Heartfelt Blooms

Ok, this stamp set is amazing.  When I first opened the stamp set, I have to admit I had my doubts. But it has not disappointed me. The Heart Felt Blooms is breathtaking and so easy to make beautiful cards.  I was working on a challenge that Leena Girsa gave her team and accidently made a heart shaped card with the Heart Felt Blooms.  I changed the color and here you go...what do you think? A simple card for Valentines day!!
