Stamping with Jen - November Stamping Symphony Blog Hop

I cannot believe it is the middle of November already. Where is the time going??? I had fun making this Tri-Fold Shutter Card with the amazing Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.

There is not one piece of DSP in that pack that I do not love.

For a tutorial on the measurements and cuts to make the card, I found a u-tube video by Dawn Griffith  (https://youtu.be/sO2TxWmVLKw).

For my card I stamped the ornaments from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set on very vanilla cardstock using night of navy ink and then coloured them in with the night of navy blends.  I embossed the leaves using copper embossing powder and then used the old olive blends to color those in and the berries I took the copper Delicate re-inker and put some on a block and painted them.  The Gleaming Ornament punch pack is so easy to use and the holly and berries are easy to fussy cut!

Really a very simple card and so beautiful looking! And it folds up into a regular size envelope for mailing!!!

I think I need to make a few of these with all the other beautiful papers in that package!!  For a complete list of supplies see below.  Check out my video on how to make it.

Make sure you hop along to the other Stamping Symphony bloggers and check out their creations.

Have a great day and happy stamping!!!

So for todays card I decided to play with the Toile Christmas.  I love birds and the cardinal in that set is just stunning.  But I wanted to make it into a different type of bird..it screamed blue jay to me.  What do you think? Does it work? I think it does :)

It would work also for a birthday card or even a New Years card...

Check out my video to see how I made this card.

Please let me know what you think!!

Stamping with Jen - Christmas Ornaments with Brightly Gleaming Suite

I have had so much fun making these paper Christmas ornaments.  I will be making these for my team and for a few of my special events happening in the next 6 weeks. Are these not adorable???

Lots of punching and glueing, but who would know these are baubles??? So cute!  These would be perfect as gifts for a special person's tree as well as gift toppers.

I stamped a sentiment on the back, but you could as easily put a tag (i.e., To, From).
These were inspired by Angela Westland in Australia, here is an ornament following her tutorial.

I also tried one using the tree stamp and punch from the perfectly plaid bundle

Make sure you watch my video to see how to put these together.  Any questions...just reach out!!
