Stamping with Jen Waves of Inspiration Bay Window Card

Thank you so much for joining me tonight!!! I received a birthday card from a friend who did this really cool fun fold (thanks for the inspiration Linda!!) and I just had to make it with this collection.  I am so in love with the Waves of the Ocean collection and this fun fold!!!!

I watched a video from Rachel Tessman from Stamp your Art out, who adapted this from a demonstrator in UK (Cards Taylor Made by Maria).  Thanks ladies for the inspiration!!!

What do you think of this card?  I love it!!!

Depending on which section of the DSP you are using, you may want to stamp in Pacific Point ink and emboss with clear embossing powder like below.    So the top card, the DSP was pretty dark, so I embossed in white embossing powder.  If there is more white in your DSP then you will want to stamp in colour! Like this one

For the inside, I kept it pretty simple

I used thick Basic White for the card base just to make it a bit more rigid.  Here are the measurements to make this card.

Card base - Thick Basic White 4 1/4 X 11, scored at 3/8, 1 7/8, 3 5/8, 5 1/8 and 5 1/2

Card stock - Pacific Point 4 1/8 X 3 3/4 cut two pieces at 1/4

DSP - 4 1/8 by 6.  Cut parallel to short side at 1 5/8 off the right hand side of the DSP, set aside.  Stamp/emboss image on the remaining piece and then cut at 1 3/8, 1 5/8, and the third piece will be 1 3/8.  Keep these pieces in order.

Basic White - stamp and cut out two pelicans and label

Make sure you watch my video for some tips and tricks!!

Happy stamping

Jen
