Christmas In July Stamping Symphony Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamping Symphony blog hop for July!  Even though the summer has just begun, we decided it wasn't too early to start thinking Christmas cards!!!  It won't be long for the Holiday Catalogue to be launched, but there are some wonderful holiday stamps in the annual catalogue that shouldn't be forgotten.  Make sure you hop on along to check out the other amazing teams designs!!

Using the returning Christmas Pines and Pretty Pines thinlets, I decided to try out some of the new Stampin up colors together with the eclipse technique.  What do you think?  I think I am falling in love with the Merry Merlot!

This very simple card involved gold embossing the pine sprigs, using the large letter thinlets to cut out NOEL, then popping up the letters using dimensions on a piece of shaded spruce.  The front of the card was finished off using a few pine cones but into gold foil sheets and a bow using the new shaded spruce ribbon from the metallic ribbon combo pack.

For the inside, more gold embossing.  The sparkles are simply versamark with clear embossing powder mixed with some dazzling diamonds and then heat set.
