Wow another month has gone by already. This is crazy that we are almost half way through August. The time is flying!
I saw a really neat gift card holder/card by Connie Stewart (you can see her video here) and thought this would be perfect for a masculine birthday card using Whiskey Business. What do you think?
When you untie the ribbon, you have a place for a gift card and a place to write a little note!
For the inside, I kept it simple!
The DSP is from the new August to December mini, isn't it gorgeous!!!
I will put a full list of supplies at the end of this post. Not sure if you can see how shiny the canister is..but trust me, it is pretty cool. How did I do it? So I stamped in Memento on Whisper white cardstock and coloured with blends. Then I stamped using StazOn onto a window sheet. I adhered the Adhesive sheet to the back of the window sheet, peeled off the backing and overplayed the window sheet on the coloured image and cut out with scissors.
To make this card you will need:
- Basic Black Cardstock 4 1/4 X 5 1/2
-Whisper White Cardstock - 4X 5 1/4
- 2 pieces at 3 1/4 X 4
- scrap for stamping
- Card holder layer - Cherry Cobbler cardstock 4 1/4 X 11
- DSP - Plaid Tidings - 4 X 2 (outside)
- 3 1/4 X 4 (inside)
- Window sheet
- ribbon
