Positive Thoughts Stamping with Jen

I hope that you are all doing okay and are weathering through these scary and uncertain times.  I think in these times, it is so important for us to look for the positives and to really focus on self care.  I find stamping is a huge stress management tool in my life.  Sometimes it is hard to focus and get started, but once you loose yourself in the creativity it has been a life changer for me.  So, I figured there may be people feeling stuck at home looking for something that they can do while at home, so I decided in todays video and blog to show the same card designed for different levels of stampers.  So the Basic card is the simplest card, and you really only need stamps, ink, paper, and adhesives.  This is perfect if you don't have a lot of supplies at home or if you are new to stamping.  The Stepped up card still is using basic supplies, but has some extra embellishments and bling added to it and then the Avid is the version for crafters that have everything at home already at their disposal.  To get started with stamping, you really only need the basics which is ink, paper, a trimmer (you could use scissors, but it would be very very difficult to get a good cut), scissors and glue.

Here is the basic card.  Who can you think of, that is safe at home that may be feeling a little isolated as we are restricted from going out?  Wouldn't this just make someone's day?

What about, just adding a little bling to it. It is amazing what a ribbon and some additional dimensions can do to change a look of a card.  This one is the Stepped up card.  The only additional supplies you need is the ribbon, wink of Stella (sparkle paint pen) and some glue dots.  You can't really see the Wink of Stella in the photo, but in real life the butterflies sparkle!!! For this one I stamped the butterflies on whisper white using Petal Pink and cut them out using scissors.  So you still don't need a die cutting machine.

The final version of the same card is for the Avid stamper that has a die cutting machine and can add a little more layers easily using the dies.

For the inside of this card, I kept all three the same and made sure to leave lots of room to write a message.

Don't you think any of these cards would be perfect for a friend or loved one that is feeling isolated right now because of the pandemic?  Would you like to make these cards? You Can!!! Even if you have never stamped before.

I have a step by step tutorial for these three cards ...How do you get it?????? Three ways:
- It is FREE if you make a purchase of $35 or more on my on-line store using the host code on my blog (if before March 31st it is XDZ3GECU).  Follow this link to my online store   I will email you the tutorial for free!
- Purchase the card kit.  The card kit includes the step by step tutorial, cardstock and ribbon to make any of the three levels of cards.  You will need to supply the stamp set, ink and adhesives.  Cost is $10 plus shipping.
- Purchase the tutorial.  Cost is $5 payable via email transfer.  Once payment is received I will email you the tutorial.

I have put the supply list below with links to my on-line store.  For the Avid card, you will need a die cutting machine, but I designed the other two cards so that you don't!!  For the Stepped up card you will need the ribbon and glue dots, for the others you can make do without.

If you live in Canada and would like to order from me, this link will take you to the supplies needed to make these cards. If you already have some of them, just unselect from the link
